Tim founded ALC Enable in 2001, but is also involved in several business and charitable ventures besides ALC Enable, including the first-ever inclusive Non-Profit to raise the profile, standards, and reputation of the global executive search industry.
With a background in film, theatre, and publishing, he established the ‘Creative and Media’ practice for a London executive search firm in the late 1990s.

Whilst there had been a plethora of unreliable quality and largely transactional recruitment-to-recruitment and search-to-search firms, he identified the need for the highest calibre advisory firm to holistically partner with executive search firms and their owners on every aspect of business strategy and growth.

Consequently, Tim established ALC Enable with a vision of partnering with search firms across the globe to help them realize their goals and full potential. He has surrounded himself with some of the world’s leading experts in business solutions facing executive search firms: from marcomms to technology to M&A. These specialists have impressive backgrounds from Mckinsey, Boyden, Odgers, Korn Ferry, and others.

Tim’s role is focused on continuing the global expansion of the business and creating new initiatives to help future-proof the executive search firms throughout the 2020s.
Outside work, Tim has been addicted to running, with a personal best marathon time of 3 hours and 12 minutes and keen to smash that once he can get the bones in his foot welded together again! He is fanatical about 1980s and 2020s music, a passionate skier, an okay chess player, a below-average children’s magician, and the least prolific stand-up comedian on the London circuit, averaging one gig every 2.5 years to date

For over 25 years Gray has worked with public, privately-held, government and non-profit organizations in defining, implementing and managing business, brand and marketing strategies that achieve growth objectives, while future-proofing for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

As a founder of two successful brand and marketing consultancies, Managing Director at two others, and most recently as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer for a world class professional services organization, Gray brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to building and leading teams across distributed and diverse international organizations.

Gray has lead teams in defining and building some of the most well known brands across the globe in the professional services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, technology, financial services and consumer sectors.

He is a cultural anthropologist by training which provides Gray with a unique ability to understand and integrate the cultural nuances of the organizations he partners with in driving change and transforming business.

Outside of work, Gray’s passions are music — guitar and piano — traveling and world literature. He is an avid ice hockey player, sailor and globe trotter.

As an industry guru and thought leader in executive search and leadership, Matt has joined ALC Enable with the mission of driving our growth.

With 20 years of experience, Matt’s expertise is global, with a particular focus on the EMEA region.

Since 2014, Matt has provided talent acquisition and strategic support to the executive search and human capital industry as a co-owner of a leading search to search firm. Prior to this, he was the EMEA Director for a global human capital business.

Matt is passionate about mentoring and driving the evolution of our team members. Bringing boundless energy and innovative approaches, Matt heads up the personal and professional development of our staff, always leading by example.

Matt has an international background: living in Budapest for 10 years, and most recently, Dubai. Matt has returned to living in his UK hometown so his children are able to enjoy the same childhood that he did.

Outside of work, Matt owns a vintage designer clothes store and has a fondness for travel, motorbikes and music: he even runs an annual music festival in the grounds of Europe’s largest stately home!

Katie runs and improves the firm’s processes and operations. She oversees the daily functioning of the team, making sure things are done with the utmost quality and efficiency.

She also promotes effective communication both internally within the organisation and externally, with a particular focus on mental health awareness.

Katie has a degree in English Literature and Language as well as a degree in Film, TV, Drama, & Theatre. She moved to the UK in 2012, having previously lived in Poland and Russia.

Prior to joining ALC Enable, she worked as a teacher and an event videographer. She speaks several languages including Polish and conversational Russian and Spanish.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys dancing, filmmaking, playing tennis, and travelling.

With a business and executive search background, Aleksandra’s responsibilities cover the legal, financial, HR, and administrative side of our business for the Skopje team, making sure everything is running smoothly from a day-to-day operational standpoint, and that results are being delivered both in terms of quality and efficiency. She also provides support with international research, data management, and business intelligence.

Aleksandra has lived in the US and holds a degree in English Language and Literature. She speaks several languages including English, Spanish, and Macedonian, with a working knowledge of Italian and French.

In her free time, she enjoys travel and dancing as well as reading personal development books and suspense novels.

Claire leads various projects and assists the team with research and managing data as well as providing support to business development efforts. She works closely with the COO to ensure excellence in terms of our delivery to our clients.

She was born and raised in the Philippines, moving to the UK to join her parents in 2008. She holds an MBA and acquired a Chartered Management Institute Level 7 Diploma focused on Professional Consulting in 2020.

Her favourite way to relax is reading biographies and mystery novels, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoys travelling and exploring Europe, particularly Italy and Austria.

Ivona’s responsibilities include supervising the research and talent intelligence across the business as well as supporting our branding and marketing.

Based in Macedonia, she has an executive search background and previously also worked as a child care specialist and a customer support representative whilst studying English Language and Literature at university.

Her interests include painting and sketching. She considers herself an introverted soul and spends a lot of time reading literature and poetry. She also enjoys cycling and loves nature.

Coming from a retail and management background, Wiktoria is responsible for marketing and communications, including the promotion of internal comms, team collaboration, and well-being.

Her objective is to create more awareness for ALC Enable’s mission to future-proof and support the executive search industry, encouraging it to adapt and become more forward-thinking throughout the 2020s.

She is based in Poland where she indulges in her love for DIY, design, oil and watercolour painting, and her passion for human geography, culture, and languages.

Marija provides research support for the ALC Enable team whenever and wherever needed as she hones her skills in the executive search field.

She began her professional career as a transcriber and editor of medical reports, later moving into translation and subtitling work for which she holds a BA from the University in Skopje. Before joining the ALC Enable team, she was a data entry and business verification specialist. Translation has remained her freelance occupation as it is something she will always be passionate about.

Marija was born and lives in Skopje where she spends her days watching and reading everything true crime related, wishing there were more antique stores around to enlarge her collection of vintage items, and enjoying listening to her dad’s old vinyl records.

Kristina comes from a branding and human capital background, having worked at a German recruitment company before joining ALC Enable.

She heads up the Market Intelligence division of our business, interviewing and surveying executive search leaders around the world on a variety of topics, leading the strategy and creation of relevant content, news and data to help support and improve the executive search industry.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking, kundalini yoga and writing.

Marija has a background in recruitment, with particular experience in the German market, having also spent six months there.

At ALC Enable her role is to support the business from a client development and client relationship point of view, contributing to the strategy, evolution and introduction of the company’s service offering to the market. Part of her role is researching new markets and helping the Founder to identify the best new targets for some of the new services.

Travel is a great passion for her, citing Italy as her favourite destination and Bali/Seyschelles as somewhere she aims to go to in the next few three years. She also enjoys reading about psychology and devouring romance novels, as well as enjoying time with her family, friends and her Maltese dog, Minnie.

Originally from Vienna, Aleks studied German and English at university, worked at Lufthansa before joining the executive search and recruitment industry, working first as a relocation expert and to end up as Team Lead for candidate support.

She joined ALC Enable to bolster the expanding delivery team, supporting executive search firms around the world by researching, identifying, approaching and hiring talent at Partner and Researcher/Associate level.

In her spare time Aleks enjoys reading Agatha Christie novels, is a big fan of Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, and loves everything Germanic: the music, the language, the culture.

Daniela leads the market research for some ALC Enable projects, as well as approaching and communicating with candidates and managing the talent database.

As an English major, her previous work experience encompasses teaching, translating, transcribing, content writing and the ghostwriting of e-books, articles, and social media posts.

To unwind, Daniela likes to read short stories, listen to music, and travel. Exploring languages is something that brings her much joy: she has delved into Czech and most recently German.

Michal manages our global data entry team and also supports research ID for talent and M&A assignments on behalf of our executive search clients.

Having become Welsh Youth Champion at soccer several years ago, Michal has since played semi-professional football at a very high level and is passionate about how considerations around both the individual and team collaboration which makes a sports team win is absolutely identical to what makes a business successful.

With a background in sales and account management, Adrianna’s role as Associate sees her engage in research, communication with executive search professionals at all levels, and associated administrative tasks across a variety of projects.

Coming from a design background, Karolina is an integral part of the company, working in the Data Entry team.

With this being a completely new world, Karolina wants to learn as much as possible about the industry and the company and see where it takes her. She has said she is open to what opportunities present themselves as she develops her knowledge.

Karolina is from Rybnik. She spent 4 years in Krakow studying in art schools and enjoying the charms of living in a big city. After this, she lived in Katowice, whilst developing her career in Design.

Outside of work, Karolina enjoys long forest walks with her dog Popeye and spending hours in the cinema with her husband and friends.
